Que el pasado viernes 1 de marzo, el presidente argentino Javier Milei anunció el cierre de la agencia de noticias estatal Télam; Que el cierre de Télam refuerza el debate sobre la libertad de expresión en Argentina y los peligros del uso político de la censura; Que en un acto de incongruencia e indignación, el vocero presidencial escribió “Saluden a Télam que se va…”, en la red social X (antes Twitter), minutos después de que Javier Milei anunciara el cierre de la agencia ese mismo día. Que el efecto alcanzado por tal medida afecta a 700 trabajadores, es decir, 700 familias que se quedarán sin ingreso para afrontar los embates económicos del gobierno nacional. Que la medida trae como efecto la persecución de periodistas que no se encuentren alineados a las políticas neoliberales de Javier Milei Que la agencia Télam es una agencia de noticias internacional, modelo de compromiso y sin sesgos partidarios, ARTICULO 1°: El Honorable Concejo Deliberante de Mar Chiquita repudia enérgicamente el cierre de la agencia de noticias TELAM por ser un acto arbitrario contra una agencia modelo, cargado de un sesgo persecutorio de la libertad de expresión para con el oficio de la comunicación social.
